A question for Mustang Guy - Sonic X
« on: July 20, 2003, 10:49:40 PM »
I am considering the purchase of the Sonic X Solid.  I have a higher rev rate, high track and slower ball speed so I am considering drilling 6x5.

I am hoping that this ball will allow me to go around the track on a second shift xmas tree pattern where the track area has been really chopped up with straight shooters using Charcoal.

I have a pearl beast which clears the heads but really doesn't carry very well from that angle of attack.  Stronger equipment will recover but can be difficult to project down the lane.

Would the Solid be an appropriate ball choice for this condition?

Thanks in advance!

I think it would definitely match up with the layout you have in mind.

Keep me posted on your results!

Thanks,
