After the success of the Critical Theory...
« on: December 13, 2016, 03:00:41 PM »
Why is the Critical not shown more love? No one on here talks about it, I haven't seen it in any of the telecasts I have seen, and have only seen one in person.

Yes, I have not seen many Criticals either. RG has already discontinued it and I think it was overshadowed by the NoRules...

Mine is awesome and completely unique in my bag....

Y'all are crazy.  What's not to like about a 3000 grit hybrid assym, at a widow price point?  Oh...and it hooks a ton off the spot.

U millennials lol

Billdozer,

Don't get me wrong, I had the Critical Theory and thought about the Critical but I have to be selective in my equipment purchasing. I had to decide between the Critical and Norules and the NoRules won. No regrets , but may try to get one before their gone...

I don't think I qualify as a millennial as I am 48 ;) LOL

I do think that RG discontinued it too quick though :(

No rules or critical is a easy decision. Critical is a meh ball, it's ok.

Yeah this seems to be common practice with this company.  It appears that if something isn't a hot seller out of the gate, the plug gets pulled quickly.  They seem to take a spaghetti approach.  Just keep throwing balls out there until something sticks. One wonders if there is actually a plan.

Storm has fallen into that from time to time as well. I remember this particularly with the X-Factor line. They released the X-Factor Reloaded, and then the Fear Factor came out almost immediately thereafter. Sometimes they release too many balls in a short period of time, and since most people want the newest one, others fall by the way side.

I couldn't agree more with the last 2 posts..... I absolutely love Motiv's approach ....... If more companies adapted this approach,  it would make ball purchasing so much more simple.

I guess when you've had a run like Storm has, you just can't help yourself, you from time to time can trip over your own cord.   ???

Yes they are impending.... It's sad, but as been mentioned before, it's just a matter of time now before  most companies' start to hit rock bottom, where (in my opinion)  the masses stop buying at a 90% clip or so.... Then what do they do then???

I was really thinking about getting this at one point but after it just had radio silence on release, I started thinking it was a dud. I can really see how the no rules overshadowed it though
