AND THE WINNER IS.....(Roto Grip Movie Month)

Roto Grip held their first Movie Month contest in April of 2008.  17 videos in all were submitted by avid Roto Grip fans.  The contestants were competing for a Roto Grip Prize package that includes a Roto Grip Strike Cell, an upcoming release of a mid-priced ball, a Golden Globe Polyester, Roto Grip 3 ball tote.  With all of these great prizes, the winner will be the first person to have all of the new equipment.  

After reviewing all of the video's, the Roto Grip Team has picked the winner.  The winner is...

The remainder of the contestants each recieved a Cell T-Shirt and the 10 finalists will recieve a 2 ball tote plus as well.

Aww Man!!! Thanks everybody!!! DP3 just called me at work and told me the news.  I am extatic.  Thanks R/G for the opportunity and also congrats to all the other winners as well! I still can't believe that I won!

Maybe because he never actually threw the Cell, which was a requirement for the vid?

You had to throw the cell?  I thought the concept of the contest was to feature the Cell in a "creative" manner.  If throwing the Cell was a major deciding factor than

The only rule was to have a CELL in the video. The rest was left up to everybody's imagination.Just have fun and run with it.

The judging was probably the same. No criteria, just choose your favorite based on whatever reason they happened to like that certain video.

Well we purchased a cell off the internet just for the video, but when our shoot date came up, the cell still didn't arrive so we had to go with plan b which was having a crazy man offer an undrilled cell (borrowed from the pro shop) as a prize and rolling the RSX instead.

the final product turned out really funny for us, but i guess that doesn't really mean much! we got the cell a few days after the shoot, but man oh man would having that strike cell be something else! oh well, we put our best effort into the video but came up short, no regrets...

we got a lot of views and ratings on youtube so we're thinking of making a sequel of emilio beating parker bohn with the cell haha

thanks again for the contest and we look forward to receiving the cool tee and bag.
