CELL PEARL / OVER SEAS BALLS

Everyone,

I do enjoy reading all your posts and excitement about a future Cell release.  
The International market is quite different than the domestic market in terms of new product releases.  The International Distributors demand a new release each month unlike the domestic distributors. The balls released overseas are not available here in the US.  We are not trying to be unfair by any means.  This is our business model and this is what our Distributors require.    

I'm glad that everyone is looking forward to more versions of the Cell.  I would like to think for those of you who follow our company know that we will follow the original with another cover stock in the future.  

For those of you who aren't familiar with us or are new to Roto Grip because of the Cell, I welcome all your questions.  

Please know this:

YES there is a plan to release another version of the Cell
YES it is going to be a pearlized version  
YES it is going to be released later this year  
NO We have not firmed up when it will be released - that depends on many things
YES we will provide information to feed your need for more information - as time permits

We have 2 new balls coming out in late July that we feel is necessary for our product line.  The Grand Illusion is meant to fill a void we currently have between the Cell and the Illusion.  We have also been without a polyester spare ball for quite some time and we are now releasing a very cool looking Golden Globe.  Please look for more information on these to come.

Locke - No lower end weight block is planned to be introduced into the Roto Grip Line.  

We direct customers to the Tropical Storm if somebody is looking for that type of reaction.

Sorry should just like to confirm that the Hydrid Cell and Strike Cell is basicaaly the same ball ? So how is this ball compare to the original Cell ?

Roger,

Thanks for finally clearing that up.  I have mentioned in the past that the International or Japanese distributors demands a new ball to come out every month to only be laughed at or ignored.  The bad thing about the International releases is that there are so few to go around.  If you don't get them as they are released you will miss out and is the reason why I picked up a Strike Cell (I am located in Japan).  As for the difference between the Strike and Hybrid is:
Strike is two parts solid and one part pearl (Purple Solid / Silver Pearl / Teal Solid).
Hybrid is two parts pearl and one part solid (Copper Pearl / Silver Pearl / Black Solid).

Not for sure. I would expect something. What Roger and I were talking about was a specific core design that is an extremely low end core that I would love to have so I have a true light oil Roto ball.

Man would I have loved to have the Strike Cell in Belgium!!

Lots of bowlers tearing it up with the Strike Cell with a good bit of polish over it. My Cell I dulled up...(that was a bad idea!!) This made it way too strong for the condition (and actually would have really had to go with much more polish or take the 2000 to 4000 and polish on top).

Watching the Swedes and Danes and Fins tear it up was very depressing ..*laugh*

No,the Earth's core is even weaker than the mercury core. I am looking for something weaker than my mercury. It is too much ball for true broken down conditions.
