The subject line says it all. This ball is not getting the "play" I expected it to when I first started throwing it. I figured more guys would get this into their hands.

If no one else-----I thought Ohio State fans would buy these up

I am not sure if I posted what I meant well enough. It is getting plenty of "play" by me, what I meant to say was that I am suprised there are not more bowlers using this ball.

That is alright, they are missing out!!!

my guess? end of season. why buy a a ball for the last week of bowling?

most people take the summer off and even when you bowl there is no oil.

I guess I just don't understand the late season offereings. maybe things happen differently than buy me. I noticed in my league that at the start of the 3rd session some of the top bolwers purchased new gear. but even then it was established and know equipment like a CrunchTime or some other balls that have been around for 6 months or more.

I bought mine about 2 weeks after it came up. My Driller Reccommended me this ball to use on oil. The way that I track(inverted) and the way I realease the ball he said that I need to stay away from most LRG pieces. But since the Ressurection goes long its the ball for me. I got it drilled just about stack levarage with a weight hole inside my PAP to give me more Flare, and boy does it give me that.

I love this ball it goes long and makes a BIG move to the pocket, I was surprised by how much it hooked in the oil. This is definately a heavy oil ball. I Love it!!!!

As to why not a lot of play I can't really say. I think that Roto Grip might be making the mistake of understating what the ball is really capable of. Think about it Brunswick made the Ultimate Inferno, and everyone and their mother ran out to buy one. A lot of today's younger players want a ball thats gonna HOOK HOOK HOOK, not to say that they should get it, but hey that sells.

I just saw that the specs in 14 lbs is very similar to my beloved Impact zone. I may get one of these and try it out. A nice high rg in a strong reactive cover with a medium differential.

I have one that I haven't thrown yet. Do you guys consider this an oiler? I got mine to go over my polished Blueberry and my pearl partical, which I use for light carry down. I was figuring to use the Res for slightly heavier/longer patterns, but hadn't really thought of it in terms of a heavy oil ball.

I don't think so, but, ...you could make it medium heavy I'm sure with an 600 smooth cover prep and an early rolling drill.....pin under, and cg kicked right under center line....

Definately not an oil ball, but I think it cover just about any condition other than oil. In carrydown it works rather well, but you have to square up a bit. If you try to send it through oil, and then finish through carrydown you are expecting too much.

WITH THAT SAID....With a little bit of surface I think it could be an oiler for those with very slow balls speeds and those that hit the ball really hard.

I was looking to get this ball for med oil, or lanes with some carrydown...i currently throw my apocalypse on fresh lanes, throttle/r on dry, and vicious strike on oil...i was looking for a ball to fit between the apocalypse and vicious, and i thought of this ball, because i love how the apocalypse hits...would this be a good fit???

This looks like an all around read ball which is less over/under than the Silver Streak since the Silver Streak comes polished highly. I watched a kid throw this for about 8 games straight and it stayed smooth and on point with no signs of early burn up. I was going to look into one of these but I have the low-mediumg RG med differential hole filled with a V2 and Command Zone Arc already.
