should i get rouge cell?
« on: February 23, 2009, 10:22:11 AM »
i recently punched up several new pieces them being rattler, hot sauce, and virtual gravity. i won a ball of choice raffle for the second time in 3 weeks last time i won i picked hot sauce. the shop owner said i can wait as long as i want to get the ball, should i wait until the august releases and see what comes out to start next season? i just got rebuilt the arsenal withing the last month and still have a mercury for when its dry. what should i do?

wingfan... See my review of the rogue cell at the demo day in this section. If your used to the VG and looking for something that will handle more oil and just as angular... the rogue cell is not it. The rogue will handle oil no doubt, but its niche is not being extremely angular, it rolls just like a cell, but with a tad more backend aka cell pearl. Look at the Mega Friction or Ebonite Magic... those will be closer to the VG

Hmm..Lets see what I have in this bag...some magic, some hot sauce, and a saw.. how can I loose?

I would get the Rogue. From what I have seen with numbers and heard about the ball it can be quite a good compliment to the VG if drilled properly. I think it would be worth a shot.

tizzle, would you call the VG "angular" in your opinion?  I haven't seen a lot of guys throw it with 'angular" results --- but I could just be watching the wrong bowlers! :-)  thx...

At a tournament last month, game six. We all decided to pull out our big hooking balls.  Guy on my team pulled out his vg and scored huge.  Even though the lanes were toast, it still went long and came back from places I didn't even know existed.  It was extra angular, at least for him.
