30 minutes to go! LOL

I can't say Thank You enough! It was extremely entertaining to watch all the videos and I really appreciate the creativity that went into each and every one of them.

The feeling I got watching bowlers from all around the world praising the Cell & Roto Grip just makes it all worth wild.

Thanks for being our customers.

Yeah, I've been watching it.
I've got nothing better to do than sit here and watch them climb.Boring night babysitting the kids.

#2 went on a 100 or so roll at about 6:30. It's on another one now.

Mine is number 2, I told some of my co workers about it and posted it on another forum that I frequent. But I don't even know that many people, I don't know whats going on. I just checked after getting home from work and was like what?? LOL But movie 7 has still got me beat! LMAO

I never thought something so fun could be so difficult.

I have received personal e-mails of gratitude for offering the contest, but concern from alot of people not even in the contest or submitted a video. I feel compelled to do something. This was meant to be something fun and rewarding. I would like to keep it that way.

These are the rules for the contest. I think nobody could argue that the rules are not being followed. I've decided the best thing to do is make a change. I am not going to do this myself though. I plan on listening to the suggestions from the 10 Ten Finalists. I'll email each of you on YouTube and take all of your suggestions under consideration.

My original thought would be to draw a random employee, have them watch all 10 videos and pick their favorite. Each video was great and I think everyone should be proud of that. Our goal will be to make sure a great video is the grand prize winner, not the best video. They were all great in their own individual way.

I hope you realize that if it were up to me you all would win the grand prize. We have many contests and there will be more chances to win other great prizes. I understand the intensity to want to win and the excitement of possibly winning first place. That alone makes it difficult, but I hope you can see that we are trying to do the best by our customers.

How about this? I would love some suggestions from everyone interested in sharing. How about another video contest? What kind of contest would you suggest or want to do if it was your decision?

I thought I was chugging along pretty well at first, after campaigning all my buddies for votes. I posted a message for them,not to even bother any more, I don't have a chance.

I love the contest Roger. If I could have entered I would have but I am a college student. With finals it just was not happening. I think it is something you guys have to decide. As much as public voting is fun, it just is not working. I would like to suggest that you do more contests in general as i just think it is great to get everyone involved. I know this contest really took over BR for a couple of weeks. I think it will be great to bring in the fringe, those who are thinking about buying a Roto ball.

I've noticed while reading the forums that a lot of people have been questioning how my movie could receive so many votes in such a short period of time. I would like to clear this matter and put any doubts, questions or curiosity's to rest. I live on a college campus of 6000 people. I have been asking people to check out the website and vote and it has spread more than I could imagine. I feel that all the videos are great and deserve to be in the top ten.

I was just wondering how other people have been growing at such an astonishing rates as well and have not been receiving the same criticism. I have been watching as well.

There definitely needs to be a reformat on the competition's results, I want this competition to be as fair as possible.

Whatever you want to do is fine with me. I have video number 10 (still in the single digits). You've honored me with being in the top 10 and, at the very least, the experience was a ton of fun for me and my seven-year-old son/assistant.

I do feel fortunate that the initial voting was internal to Roto-Grip. I felt I had a chance in that regard. Once it goes to the general populus voting, who knows... There were a couple other videos I really liked, and made me regret not finding time to add text graphics or making the mouth move as he talked. If it stays a popularity vote, I hope it at least goes to a video that deserves it.

Thanks much for the opportunity/contest. The Cell is a great ball and deserves all the buzz this type of customer-participation can generate.

My video is number 8. The shortest video there... guess I should have taken a video of how long it took to set up all those pins on two lanes

It's a miracle that the strike even happened.

I like the idea of the RG employees just voting on the best one.

Right now your video has 692 views on youtube. Also, right now, your video has 711 votes in the survey. For this to be possible, every single person who watched your video must have voted for your video, as well as 19 other people who were maybe watching over a friend's shoulder and then voted? I'm a bit confused!!!!

I tell people to vote but I do not know how many times they could have voted for me perhaps those people voted for me more than once. But can you really tell me that the Youtube count is an accurate way of analyzing how many votes I received. Some people in the computer lab barely even cared to watch it as they had finals to study for. I am lucky they even listened to me. Some movies jumped at a faster rate than my movie did during the afternoon of yesterday but no one says anything regarding that matter.

I agree with the company vote as their opinions will be the fairest. The contest was a great idea and I had a great time doing everything. Thanks again Roger.

Well Roger I thought this would happen...There is so much at stake for everyone(Over $700 worth of merchandise). And I doubt anyone wants to let it go. With contests like these I think that the only way to have a true contest is for you guys to decide, like the Visionary contest. No one can argue with that. LOL

Also for future contests I think that maybe you could have 2 categories like: one for just on lane presentation(For the people that just want to be graded on vid skills throwing a certain ball) and Dramatic(Those of us who want to do a little more).

I think its hard for the 2 to go up against each other. I dunno thats my take. I'll wait for the youtube e-mail though.

But whatever the outcome Roger, thank you for the mere opportunity. And congrats to everyone that posted a vid.
