WEIRD item on Roto Grip Website . . .
« on: February 09, 2004, 03:21:07 AM »
so i decided to go to the roto grip website to check out the specs for the new apocalypse . . . sounds pretty good, i'm interested . . .

decide to look at the roto accessories . . . the usual stuff, towel, grip sack, key chain, ball cup, and . . . an "energy pouch" ?!?!?!?!?

seems that my body's out of balance and i need an optimum center of gravity (the "OCG").  actually i need to go from (ab)normal to perfectly balanced in every way imaginable!!!

just curious what ya'll think about this . . . go look, then come back and let me know, will ya?!?!?

Not so strange it probably is magnetic, but if you recall sundays PBA telecast PDW was wearing something similiar.

I wear mine on a daily basis and it definitely has improved my game and many other things in my life.  I use to be famous for my arm swing being away from my body at the foul line more than it should be.  Now I can bring the ball right by my ankle and I have no trouble with balance like I use to.  This is a very popular item worn by thousands of bowlers in Hawaii and it is starting to be pretty popular here also.  For more information visit, www.circlesoflife.com.  For all those skeptics out there, just remember a close minded person is the one who misses out on things in life.  I don't call anything bs until I have given it a chance.

Thanks,

Thanks,

Mustang Guy and buddy - I'm not trying to bag your energy bag (no pun intended), but I have never heard of a "mystical bag" that can improve your game overnight.

Honest question:  Has anyone cut one open to find out what is inside (if anything)?

Are you just fooling your mind into thinking that this gadget actually does something?  If you tell yourself something over and over, you start to believe it after awhile.

In other words, if this was $1 instead of $140, would it still produce the same results?  Pricetags can sometimes fool people into thinking the higher the price the better the results (or any for that matter).

For all we know it could just be beach sand...

Next thing I'll find out is some of you listed your religion as "Jedi" on your most recent tax return....look, did you folks know that "science" established that Pet Rocks were good for you...?

This is simply eastern mysticism westernized so people will swallow it easier. No diffrence between this and aromatherapy, palm reading, and astrology. I think it's all in your head.

Wow, a lot of good posts.  Again as buddy said it is something you won't believe unless you see it or try it.  As said on the website you can visit www.circlesoflife.com for the "facts" about what the energy pouch does.  But for the simple minded the test he describes is a way of showing people how it works.  I have done the test myself to many of my friends and just people I meet on the road.  I however do it more than once because you are right in the fact that on the second time around they know what to expect.  That really doesn't matter though because I would knock you off your balance no matter how many times we do it.  But when you have that pouch on you stay centered and it is very hard for the other person to push you down.  Nothing I say will convince you of this unless you had one of your own.  When bowling I let other people try it so they don't have to purchase one right off the bat.  So if you ever see me ask me if you can wear mine to try it out.

I am actually going to use it this weekend for my first time snowboarding.  I have been waiting for this test.  I am going to spend the first couple runs with it off and then put it on.  Anyone who snowboards knows that it takes more than a few runs to get that done.  Try more like a few weekends.  With that being said It won't matter if I put the pouch on first or later in the day.  I will be able to see if there is a difference or not.

We aren't trying to make a lot of money on this, just want to offer it to anyone is willing to try it.  You can purchase these at www.rotogear.com.  Due to the overwhelming exposure of this tool Roto Grip is going to run a special on these starting some time next week.  We are going to put them on sale for $129.95 ($10.00 off) to encourage anyone who is thinking about trying it to do it.  I will email the Fan Club and post on here when it is all changed on the site with the new price.

Thanks and have a great weekend!
