What about a weaker version of the cell

OK.. the core is the best ever some say..   Alot of people including me can never really use our cell because it is just too strong.  I got rid of mine for that reason.. Never saw a condition that it seemed to work on for more than 5 frames...

why not put it in a ball with a weaker cover.  Something for that can be used for a wider variety of conditions

I would think that there is a definite relationship between the core and the cover. If the core is too strong for the coverstock the ball might become erratic. To me a better solution would be to drill the cell weaker. I have 3 cells and my "get me out of trouble" cell has a 1 1/2" pin to pap with the mb directly below my thumb. Not too much flare, nice smooth arc, very controllable.

I don't have one, but from what I've seen a Cell Pearl minus polish covers pretty much everything but the extremes.

Get a grand Illusion go pin up and never look back, low pin on Grands seem to roll too early for my liking.

The Grand is best cheap ball out there, maybe a Pin Slasher is close but about nothing else.

i couldnt agree more about the grand illusion, its a very underrated ball, it has a medium to weak core but a very aggressive coverstock, its a nice piece to put under the cell line but something more aggressive then the roto planet series, i dont think there is another symmetrical that can touch it other than maybe the 900 global maniac
