WHEN DISTURBED IS TOO MUCH OR STARTS EARLY??

Love my Disturbed and was going to buy the Asylum, but what concerns me is I think I need something with a bit different shape. The Asylum just looks too close....I am throwing the Disturbed at 500/1000/2000/3000 on fresh. Its great but right now I am using a Nomad Solid(4000ab) as the ball down, which is a great ball to go to, but I like to keep it in my closet and only pull out for tourneys(Its my favorite ball ever). So basically I want to put the Nomad back in the closet, what should I look at, something clean with some punch like the Nomad...???? I usually put some surface on the ball, never really throw anything polished unless lanes are fried.  Im also drilling a 2013 Shout today I got on ebay for $44 shipped NIB....Im going to put my Blackout away too( 2nd favorite ball of all time) Will take Shout to 4000

Balls Im considering...

Hyroad....had one years ago but drilled long pin(5.5) and pin way up....was very oil sensitive, thinking 4 in pin to pap and 50-60 VAL angle

Reign On.....Looks super strong though

Fusion.....Have to wait to Feb and may not be a clean as I want

Light Out.....this ball with some surface intrigues me...

Any other suggestions.....Im higher tilt and usually struggle with polished peals

Have you ever given any thought to a Deranged with the same layout? If pearls are touchy or squirty for you, you could hit the surface with 2000 or 4000 abralon depending on how much squirt you see.

I put the same layout in a Deranged that I had with the Disturbed and see the same motion at the break point. The Deranged just pushes easier for me when the Disturbed is too early.

I am looking at the Up Roar or Lights Out as well. You could also go with the Deranged or an Asylum polished?

I went lights out. Drilled 40x4x60 p3. 4000 surface. It's damn strong. I am shocked!!  I think it wil be perfect

The Up Roar is the pearl version.  So you may like that when your Rumble is too much

I use a pin down original Cell Cytoplasmic Solid Reactive P3000 which I am guessing is about the same total hook as a Disturbed same cover prep. I consider it my heavier ball.  I can go to a pin up Rumble at P4000 and see no issue with the burn though the control type solid 55M cover may not carry as well as a pearl Uproar or Deranged from inside.  It also depends on bowlers stats. and lane conditions.  Lanes could be carried down and a solid to me is a better option than a pearl for the most part on carry down.  So, many factors to consider there is no one way to make a definite statement.

I have a low rg layout in a Wrecker and a pin under ring finger in a Deranged that I can step down to. Both work great, just depends on what look I need.

I told my pro shop guy to do what he has to to get the Disturbed usable. The way it is now( oob) the ball is awful. If I miss a little in ball goes through nose.  A little miss outside ball leaves 2,4,5 or worse. He usually nails my equipment but this time he missed. So many people rave about this ball so I just must not match up well with it. Anybody tried 4000 polish with ball?? What about 3000?? 1st Roto ball I have purchased. Could be the last!!

Don't give up on the Disturbed yet!!! The ball is just flat out strong! May want to polish over box finish. I am considering polish on mine as our house has went to a 37' pattern and at 3000 I am having to swing the ditch. Went 191, 264 and 184 1st night of league. Its definitely a keeper....

You made me laugh!!  Thanks!!  Last chance tonight. Told Jack Jurek, who does my stuff, to do whatever he thinks he has to, so I can use ball again. Otherwise it will be on alley ball rack. Thinking about 4000 polish but I will let him make the call.
