a Solaris Pearl dulled to 2000 on PBA Shark Pattern last night. Started out with my Ultra Tactics which I had a good look with but wasnt getting a very consistent reaction, to snappy and was leaving alot of splits unless the shot was spot on. After going 160 and 160 with the Ultra T, I switched to Solaris Pearl and the difference was amazing! Essentially the same line about 12 out 5-6 I was murdering the pins SP gave me a smoother equally as strong of a read as the UT but was more controalable and carried 10 times better went 220 220 to finsh, SP turned the shark into a THS I was amazed and still am today!

This ball is great!

my Solaris was a much better ball once the shine was knocked off with a 4000 anrlaon pad. Smoother, stronger, more predictable, and still strong on the backend while carrying the house.

Mine has had its share of games and is not quite what it once was, but still does a heck of a job.

I drilled a Solaris a few months ago, I drilled it with the pin in the Middle Finger and the CG in the Centre Grip to eliminate too much flare.

Out of the box, this was one of the strongest backend balls I have ever drilled, it got down the lane easy and U Turned off the spot. After a few months I noticed the ball lost a fair bit of its bite(what ball doesnt these days). It is still an awesome ball to go straight with, Might take it to 2k and see how it reacts.

But over all a great ball from Seismic

I have over 100 games on mine, and it still reacts good just not as strong as it used to, but as pentioned a million times, this is normal. Still carries great, but have to play a little straiter than in the past.

Well I got mine used so I am not sure How many games were on it to start with. When mine was polished it really didnt have much gas as soon as their was any carry down pretty much just skated and gave a little pop at the end.

With dulled down the ball has sprung back to life however I dont know if that cause the drill pattern and cover prep didnt match well the first time or if their was a bit of death involved.

As Massacore said above what ball doesnt quit a little these days?
