Jason Baer Seismic Staffer/Solaris TSE Review
« on: March 17, 2014, 10:58:38 PM »
About 2 months ago I purchased a Venator from my pro shop and was very impressed by the ball so I opted to purchase another Seismic piece this time being the Solaris TSE. (BTW The Venator is a must for all who love low RG/High Diff balls) When ordering the Venator the only issue was I had to get the ball from an out of state distributor and it took 2 weeks to get and $15 bucks to ship and this is where Jason comes into the picture

After poking around BR I came across some posts from Jason and shot him an email which in turn lead to several emails all which were answered in about 5-10 mins and when we started talking on FB the answers came in even faster.  Once I got all the info I needed I placed an ordered him on Monday (3/10), got a tracking # on Tuesday, and my ball came in on Friday much faster than the distributor and FREE SHIPPING!!!  The weight and pin were spot on as well.  Jason also got pricing info to my pro hop for future orders for myself and hopefully others.

I don’t really get into all the layout names and such but more into what I see when the ball rolls down the lane then describe what changes in surface or how it reads to my pros hop operator and adjust if needed from there.  I have put a picture below of the Solaris TSE which is laid out the same way as my Venator minus a weight hole.  The Solaris just like the Venator carries the off hits extremely well.  What I have noticed about the roll is it very smooth. When I play my (A) game I go fairly hard and straight with the ball having the right amount of pop on the back end but not over hooking (if the Venator is too much I can easily go to this and not move). When I play my (B) which is more of a slow banana hook the ball really takes off on the back end more so then the Venator (made more for mid lane read)

This is another great ball from Seismic and if you are looking to try something new I fully recommend either of the 2 balls I have tried.
