« on: January 03, 2012, 12:21:42 AM »
got mine drilled  using 30x43/4x50 with a val hole up, ball is amazing, great mid-lane read, smooth and continuous through the pin-deck,great carry played straight up 15 to 8 and was swinging it 20 to 12 the carry is fantastic if you miss right this ball will fight it's way to the pocket,if you tug it it holds it line very good a must have ball.great job seismic!

Can you compare to other heavy oil balls that you've thrown?  What are your specs and what kind of oil do you throw on?  Thanks

Punched my Aftermath up last night, went 5 1/4" x 5", mb about an 1" right of thumb...oob this ball is very strong even with the longer pin to pap distance. Only other ball I had with me was a Track 607A SE, and the Aftermath was a good 2 arrows stronger and more continous on the backend.

I actually had to go back to the spinner after a few shots at the oob surface, the Aftermath was/is just way too much ball at oob surface for the conditions I see. The cover is tunable from what I have seen so far, and at lower grit levels and drilled stronger this ball can handle alot of oil.

I have a Virtual Gravity in my arsenal as well, and while I havent compared them together as of yet, i would say my Virtual is earlier, partly because of drilling, but the Aftermath is stronger overall and more in the back from what i saw last night. Overall unless you are rolling on the great flood, I can see this being more than enough ball for most styles on most med hvy-hvy oil conditions.

it isstronger than the nano alot smoother and does not over react if you miss right it has great recovery used it on heavy oil in league, and it rolled better than my nano or my buzzbomb carnage in my opinion it is stronger than both of those balls

My AfterMath was just a touch weaker than the Critical Theory but earlier on the lane and far smoother and easier to read off the spot IMO carried better and more consistently than the Critcal.

AfterMath is probably one of the more underrated oil balls on the market today in all honesty.

TBH Mainz i think the underratedness (new word? lol) is purely down to the colour!  You either love it or hate it!

Honestly, when a skilled player is looking for a certain type of reaction in a ball, the color shouldn't matter. I love my Aftermath, I can say its one of the best balls I have EVER played with in 22 years... very versatile on oily and medium oily, even when the shot gets a bit burnt, playing left for a righty with this ball isnt a problem... I just ordered a second one this week.

Question for Ryan, is this ball still being made?? I might be needing a few 15lbs for some customers...

Ymiller,

Talk to tekneek, he scored me one just a couple of weeks ago, and the ball is MONEY. When I have the funds, I am going to sock another away nib. Maybe try a blackout too. Not too interested in the Bulls from what I've seen.

Yanick,

I agree, colour shouldnt matter, but for some bowlers its just too bright :)

The ball is still a "current" ball for us, meaning we are still fully stocked in all weights. However I dont think it will be in our regular line more than another couple of months so you should order one sooner rather than later :)
