Seismic Solaris Blackout
« on: November 08, 2012, 10:34:16 AM »
I was the free ball winner last month. I've finally gotten time to get the Solaris Blackout drilled up and have thrown it for 3 sets so far. I know it's not a ton of games but figured I'd at least comment on what I see so far.

So far I love it! It seems to perfectly compliment the equipment I already have. On most house shots I tend to throw my Creature as it's tame enough to not have to cover the entire lane. However, at times on extreme wet/dry it will labor to the pocket if I move in at all and fly off of the friction if I bump out. This is where the Blackout fits in so well. It gives me easy length with a smooth and continuous arc to the pocket. So far I have been able to cover plenty of boards if necessary or play right up the ditch. The versatility is awesome and I can't believe how well it just seems to mesh with the other equipment I have.

I would gladly recommend that anyone who would like to give Seismic a try to look into the Blackout.

On a side note, my 3 sets were 594, 602, and 706 in that order. Not phenomenal scores, but the look I get is fantastic. Operator error was keeping me from better scores.

I'm a former staffer with Seismic, and of all the balls I had in their lineup the Blackout was my favorite.

Total benchmark type ball, easy length more than enough pop on the back, and it matches up to a wide variety of bowlers. Overall its a unique ball, one that gives you a reaction that most other companies dont have in their lineups.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Blackout, and I would recommend that anyone who is looking at Seismic seriously consider the Blackout as a first choice.

Add that I shot a 300 with mine over the summer this year....just a great ball.

As an update, shot my first 300 and 800 tonight using the Solaris Blackout I won in October. Went 300-279-231 for 810. I cannot thank Seismic enough for the ball and will be happy to pass along good words about the Seismic brand to others!
