Thanks, great video...I absolutely love my Blackout and I have yet to drill my replacement Stampede but have plans for it later this year...closer to when the Dominion comes out.  I experimented with Blackout #2 today and put it at 500 grit abr (pin above ring finger with a shorter pin to CG while Blackout #1 is at 4k abr with pin in ring finger and a longer pin to CG)....on my house shot...Blackout #2 was an absolute animal playing the middle track area....I thought that it was going to roll too early being 500 grit but with the pin up layout and my ball speed, I was able to be pretty smooth with the ball and all three stages of ball motion were observed and absolutely destroyed to pins...I think I found something and can't wait to use her on league night Thursday.....

Great vid Kevin!  The Stampede looked good on the Kegel shot!  And of course, the Blackout is smooth as butter!

Thanks sir, Ya the solaris is a smooth talker i mean smooth roller hehe! that is my favorite ball to use on a house pattern anywhere.

for sure bro! in the next couple weeks I think i'm going to shoot on some higher volume of oil patterns, even for the solaris, i can play a 1-3 board guttern shot all the way down and I think that would look awesome. same for the stampede I'm ordering another one and have it drilled the strongest with most flare so i will be looking for the atlantic ocean lol

I think around tax time, I am going to pull the trigger on the Seismic brand. Which do you think is the most versatile Bull? I know Gunny can't use the blue one due to all of his MEGAHAND, but I think the Stampede is a nice between piece.

Normally, I would just say "Forget it, I'll get all 3!" but my budget is kinda tight lol.

All three bulls are great pieces.  And sure, you can throw the other two, with a bit of polish on them ;)

I threw some polish on them Sunday, and threw them, and I might be able to use them...haha!

Of course i'll say go for all three LOL, how ever I looked at what you have on flikr and if your wanted a smooth rolling ball then for sure the Solaris, if you wanting huge hook then either stampede or Blue Raging Bull, if you want a polished version then go with the Raging Bull Charged. which one where you thinking? do you have a video posted online I can watch you bowl and help you pick a ball out?

thanks
kevin

I honestly haven't shot video of myself since 2003, but have been meaning to. Ball speed is about 16mph, and I would say that I am a tweener. Not a lot of revs, but enough to at least somewhat carry lol. On the THS, my Bank is more than enough ball. I'm bowling on tougher conditions though (At least trying to), so I can use stronger equipment.

well if the bank is more than enough and i know how that ball rolls my buddy use to have one and man did that ball move great on the lane. if your wanting hook but still get down the lane i would highly recommend the "Raging Bull Charged" then this way you get the same Hornecore and great hooking action but instead its a pearl version which will roll better for you since you have a low rev rate and average speed. If you take the other two bull balls LOL bulls balls lol sorry just sounds funny, using the other two you would have to polish them for the sake of burning out and no ball is fun to throw when its burned up before the break point. this way you would have to polish it, the charged would already come that way. no if you want to replace your bank with the stampede that would be awesome to and i would drill the stampede stronger than the charged.

hope this helps.

thanks

Well, when I had just the Bank, I kept it at 4000, but when I got my Bank Roll, I polished up the Bank to give it some separation. It's much better on the fresh with a little surface. I think I could get away with 1000 and polish, just so it wasn't so sensitive.

So are you saying that the Horn core rolls like the SRC in the Bank series?

If you are, that means good things for me and bad things for my wallet lol.

With the dynamics of the hornecore its much stronger than those bank roll and the other one. If your wanting a heavy strong ball with pop off the breakpoint then "RBS" if you want the same hook but in a smooth arch fashion then "RB" if or want little more skid and more movement off the breakpoint the "RBC" the layout will also be something to consider

Then I would be looking at the Charged and Stampede in the high end. Been wanting a Blackout in the worst way for a while. Seems like the THS killer.

Those two are a fantastic choice, you could never go wrong with a blackout. Let me know what you want and I'll shoot you a price, if you don't have a pro shop in town.
