What do you guys like about Seismic?
« on: December 07, 2011, 01:05:41 PM »
I like a few things, not any one more than any other.

Good carry on a consistent basis, Easy to read off the spot, adjustable long lasting covers, coustomer service Ryan has helped me out alot since I started throwing Seismics gear and that is awesome haven't had help like that with any other company.

I can second everything you said, although I've only tried the Desperado.

That ball is unlike any urethane ball I've ever thrown (Pink, Blue, and Black Hammer; Natural; and Liberator).  First, it handles more oil.  Seismic actually designed it to handle short oil tournament conditions, so it's no surprise.  Second, the carry is fantastic.  None of the corner pin issues I've seen with other urethane.  Maybe it's the strong asymmetric core, which distinguishes it from all of the other urethane releases out there during the last few years.

I just ordered the Solaris Blackout and can't wait to try it out. The low RG and low differential core makes it different than other company's balls too.

Seismic seems to be putting out stuff that fills niches in a bowler's arsenal that most other companies aren't doing.

ahh the Blackout, that ball is IMO the most underrated ball on market today. I have mine set up 35x6x35 OOB surface. It works on almost every condition out their except extremes. Smooth off the spot yet strong enough to get the corner when you are in deep, make a small hand adjustment and you can go up the boards with it easily.

Mainzer: I see from your profile you have a lot of Seismic.  Thanks for posting all the reviews too.

Cannot say much about the Seismic brand, but I share Mainzer's impression about the Blackout. A surprisingly good ball - got mine out of curiosity, and the gamble paid out. Good to see that there are ball out there which fill certain niches.

I also utter the words of mainzer.  Great company with outstanding equipment.  I've thrown them all except for the Blackout and Desperado.  The Requiem and Euphoria were my favorite, but right now, I can't seem to put down the Raging Bull Charged.  Seems to get better as I put more games on it.
