What do you want next?
« on: November 01, 2011, 11:55:26 AM »
Hey all just a fun post about what you would like to see from Seismic on their next release.

I would like to see a strong Hybrid or Solid something that is angular off the spot and very strong down lane. I like the aspect of the Raging Bulls being smooth and easy to control maybe not hooking as much as some of the other stuff out their but I feel more comfortable being able to open the lane up a little bit more.

What are you guys hoping to see?

I loved my old Solaris Pearl but I think it would be better with the lower diff of the Blackout, a pearl Bench mark ball, that would be something.

Right now we are concentrating on the new core line and the Bulls, but we really wana hear from you guys what you would like to see next!

A pearl blackout and a re-release of the original solaris are balls we get asked about quite often, and at least one of them could be already in planning! : )

For those who mentioned the blackout and blackout pearl.. would you prefer a slightly stronger solid cover blackout or a pearl version of the same cover?

We are testing some future projects at the moment, and these are two options we are looking at!

What about a weaker shell as a Blackout Pearl (say a Powerkoil 17) type of shell for a Cheetah pattern or a short sport pattern?  It would be so useful for the THS of a lighter volume (which MANY of us see).  Then make a more benchmark Blackout Pearl (with another name obviously).  I would FOR SURE purchase both.

Thanks for the feedback GoodTimes... the cover on the Euphoria is our weakest pearl reactive cover, so putting that on the Blackout would give you the weaker reaction you mentioned; the pearl cover from the Aftermath Pearl is stronger than the covers on the blackout and euphoria, but not as strong as those covers on our other higher end equipment, so would give you a stronger benchmark ball than the current blackout.

We will look at both these suggestions!

Cheers

What a great name for a ball :) "Fountain of youth - with an engine as a core that speeds up your ball and adds 250 RPM" :)

IMO nothing weaker is needed. I can cover lighter oil fine with the Desperado, BlackOut and a weak drilled AfterMath Pearl. How about a more Angular Release in the Bull Line?? Maybe a Hybrid that is strong off the spot?

This is something we have been testing recently - we having been trying out a solid sanded cover with stronger backend motion but not burning up early like some oilers, on an asym core... this will be on the cards soon too.
