Columbia 300 Mini Eliminator, Texas Station Hotel and Casino, Texas Star Lanes, Las Vegas, NV February 5-10 2008

Las Vegas, NV, Nov. 19, 2007 -- - Pinacle Events, promoters of the world famous Mini-Eliminator, today announced the Texas Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas will be the host for The 2008 Mini-Eliminator Amateur Only Classic from February 5-10.  The event offers a guaranteed prize of $20,000 and significantly reduced entry fees—as low as $99.

The Mini-Eliminator Amateur Only Classic is a three game scratch qualifying tournament with a “beat-half-the-field” in your division finals. The tournament is open to amateurs only and will feature three divisions; 45 and under, 46 and over, and bowlers with an average of 210 and under.  The event offers a 1:5 cashing ratio and 1:10 bowlers per division advance to the finals with a guaranteed minimum prize of $500.

The Mini-Eliminator Amateur Only Classic is the only megabuck tournament offering certain bowlers BONUS PINS.  If a bowler has never been a member of a professional organization (PBA/PWBA/GBT), never been on a national team or qualified for the World Ranking Masters, never won $10,000 or more in a tournament, or has never been on the amateur staff of a bowling company they will have pins added to their 3-game scratch series after each squad.

Qualified bowlers that don’t cash or make the finals will receive 10 bonus pins on their first re-entry and 5 additional bonus pins on each successive re-entry up to 30 pins. If a bowler reaches the Mini finals they keep one-third of their bonus pins (maximum of 10.) The bonus pins are intended to even the playing field and give everyone a real chance at winning the money. It is no secret the professional amateur and top international players have been dominating megabuck. This is all about to change at The Mini.

Sponsor participation for The Mini-Eliminator Amateur Only Classic has been strong and includes; Texas Station, Columbia300, Contour-Power Grips, 3G Bowling Shoes, Bowlingball.com, Knockout Ball Cleaner, Kegel, and Bowling This Month. Additional sponsor deals will be announced shortly.

Bowlers entering by January 22, 2008 will save $25 on their first entry and sweeper entry. Bowlers recruiting 2 new bowlers by January 22nd will receive a free Mini-Eliminator first entry.
