This ball is indeed predictable... I had my Atomic Charge drilled pin below the bridge 5" from PAP, CG on midline just right of grip center, MB between thumb and strong (medium length with an arcing backend). No finger grips were employed; just the thumb slug...
With the selected layout, the Atomic Charge has a strong arc and predictable roll. I can play between 10 and 15 without the early jump in the heads. Apart from leaving a few flat 10-pins, the power and carry is very strong. I ended up shooting a 741 in practice this past Sunday with games of 231, 244, and 266.
This ball should do fine on normal league conditions.
I am currently waiting for a second X-Factor Vertigo for heavy carrydown (my first being for the soup). By the fall, I should have the strongest arsenal that I've ever owned...
