I got the Eraser with a pin out 3-4 inches. I drilled it lable leverage.

Everything I read said that the ball was awsome. I Agree. The consistency of this ball is absolutley incredible. the roll is awsome and it hits like an absolute truck. It finds the pocket easily, and carries pretty much anything in the 1-3 pocket.

The only weaknesses of the ball are OIL and DRY. But anything in between the ball is absolutely awsome on.

the ball should also fit many styles of bowlers. I have had success going up the lane and also standing against the ball return. The ball responds well to changes in hand position.

definately a great ball for the money, from the best company on the market.

I have been throwing this ball for two months. The only problem that I have encountered is trying to put it away when I should. You can really get going with this ball, and then when the carrydown gets intense and you should change balls, you get reluctant to take it off the rack. This ball is a winner.

A very good ball. My high game with it(I'm 13 and have had it for 6 months)is a 245. It does have trouble on the heavier oils and when it's thrown near the gutter.

One word to describe this ball "AWESOME". I've shot my first league 300 and now high series, 808, with this ball. If you are looking for a ball to play on league conditions, then this is it. Hooks smooth and is very forgiving, all that and has good carrying power. What more an you ask for in a mid priced ball. This balls a "10".

This ball rocks the house !!!! Had it drilled about 3 3/8 from PAP. Start from far left and hit the number two or less arrow depending on conditions, and Momma I'm coming home. This ball shatters the pocket, speed sensitive so you have to stay on your game. When it starts to dry up you better put some juice behind it or she crosses. It hits so hard on the Brooklyn you still come out of it okay. Love the backend snap ... about 45 feet then in hard. I highly reccommend this ball for price and reaction. I've already paid for it in jackpots !!! Good job Storm....

Awesome ball!

I'm a little behind the pack on purchasing this ball, but now that I have one I have to agree with most of the other comments I've read. This ball is awesome! I had it drilled a 12 o'clock with pin above ring finger, and it's perfect. This ball glides through the oil and then makes a smooth move to the pocket at the end of the oil. I played my first set in a pair with moderate carry down. I know this is not the ideal situation for this ball. However, it still carried really well. It hit hard and smooth. Great job Storm! I can't wait to catch a fresh pair.

My first ball since I was about 12 years old. After reading the reviews on here this seemed like the choice for a first time ball. What I found was an excellent ball with great colors, smell and hit. After some adjustments to my game this ball became a smooth hard hitter for sure and I see why so many liked it. Nice backend and great carry though I would leave some light 10's due to hits to deep in the pocket. I have to play this ball more outside than most of my balls because of the cover. Looking forward to trying this ball more as I learn to put the ball into a nice roll. For my money and style, I would go with the Ebonite V2 Pearl for a ball that is close to the Eraser.

Drill Specs- Pin@ 4:30, MB On VAL(Storm Front-2nd drilling), Sm. weight hole

I'm probaly the last one to get this ball. I bought this ball as a trial by fire ball. I tried a completly new drilling, this layout has extremly high track flare. I wanted this ball so I could play deep on mediums with carry down and still get a good angle. I quickly found out in a practice session that I was getting exactly what I wanted. Struggled 1st game and a half due to the fresh oil pattern. Once the oil carrydown became significant this ball set up beautifully- It went about 45' (35-8)without too much difficulty and then flared up big time and smashed the rack. Drove straight through pins without deflection. Finished the set with 15 out of 17 stikes. The only downside I foresee is that this ball with this drilling will be a little condition specific but a great addition to my arsenal. I will update with more info when I get a fair amount of games on it.

The spirit polished covers everywhere from light to medium oil at any length. I needed an oil ball so i dulled it to 600 and it is now an animal, still the best and most versatile ball i own. It now kills medium to heavy oil. I now needed a ball for medium oil and less for when i have to put too much speed on the spirit.

I got an eraser used and it had a very short span, wierd drilling, and poorly maintained cover. It had a 4" pin yet it was drilled with cg 1" below ring finger and pin way above ring finger at 2 o'clock. Did not like the reaction and the fact i could get very little into it because of the short span. Plugged the finger and extended the span. Now the cg is in the palm and pin is 1/2" above the ring finger. Resurfaced the ball and polished it.
The ball gets more length and is very smooth on the backend. Still needs a little oil in the heads to get down the lane.

Just want to drop a review of the Storm Eraser. All I can say is AWESOME. I just got back into bowling after 2 years cause of a back injury, Im a 195 avg bowler. Anyhow, I was using the Track Synergy, which was a great ball and got me some nice high games, but I figured if im gonna make a comeback, I want to start totally new. I used this site and the 157 reviews of the Eraser to make my decision. And it was a great one. Got it drilled today and they let me throw a game to see how I like it. I rolled a quick 217. Im not getting into all bowling lingo, but the lanes were medium oil and my first 4 shots were powerful strikes--could of strung a few more, but the guy who drilled my ball wanted me to test out the outside part of the lane to see how the reaction was. Anyhow, amazing pin action caused by the ball. It hit damn hard and allowed room for error. Awesome ball at an Awesome price. Im gonna use it a lot more tomorrow, ill write back with an update. Definitely Recommended Highly.

The Eraser is awesome. One of the most versatile balls I ever thrown in my life. It is best suited for medium oil and good backends but I have discovered that it isn't bad on heavier oil patterns as long as you square up the lane a little more and maybe add a little surface. The carry is as good as any Storm ball on the market. The Eraser is one of those balls that comes along every so often that you will keep with you for as long as possible because it is so easy to read and is a great go to ball. I have heard good things about the Eraser Boost and Blaze and will be drilling them up within the next few weeks. If they are half as good as the original then they will be keepers.

I bought this ball based on the reviews on this board. It has not disappointed. I don't know the exact drilling, but it is drilled to go long and finish strong. I can't think of a bowler that couldn't find a place in thier bag for this ball. It has a strong but consistent turn and has excellent carry, but you guys already know that.

I've bought my Eraser back in January of this year, but am just now posting a review. This ball was my 2nd reactive ball ever, and since it was, the Pro shop guy drilled it a little bit weaker than he normally would have. (Pin to right of ring finger and cg to the right of palm)

So far, this ball has been a great dry lane ball with this drilling, and, since I usually play out, really hits the pocket hard. After a while of learning with this ball, it didn't do too well on wet lanes, so using plamor's advice (thanks plamor

) I took a green scotch-brite pad and dulled it up some, and its been like a new ball ever since. If you are looking for a great mid-priced ball that has extraordinay performance, consider buying a Storm Eraser!

Wow this is a great ball goes long and hits hard. This ball hits so hard I get quite a few standing 10 pins. Wait ago storm another great ball. Good ball for medium oil and a little dry not too much or this ball will be too much unless you have a really good arm. One of the best balls that I have ever bought.

As of late, I have been working on making my delivery more repeatable and simple. I currently have a stroker style,with a 45-degree release point, and below average revs.
I was bowling league as a sub,and the lane condition was on the medium side with a slight carrydown. I was bowling 15 out to 10 and the ball just kept hitting the pocket,didn't matter if the shot came in light or dead in the pocket, this ball carried all 10-pins. This ball clears the head area cleanly and reads the mid-lane very well, and at the break point this ball goes into a strong rolling move into the pocket. This is a great medium condition ball for people who has a stroker style.
Tonight i rolled games of:
279-217-297 = 793 series.
Nice results.
