The Storm Fate bowling ball continues the line of signature bowling balls in partnership with Jason Belmonte "Belmo". This high-performance ball introduces the F-8 Core which has more differential than any of the previous Belmo balls. This core allows for more recovery and hitting power as well as the ability to play several angles and provide elite performance regardless of rev rate. Pairing the F-8 core with the ReX Pearl Reactive coverstock creates a midlane read plus backend reaction.

COMMENTS

Likes: Clean through the heads, strong backend reaction. Great 3rd game ball. Ball did not like seeing oil for me. This ball was great after the lanes transitioned and I couldn’t throw my Zen anymore.

Dislikes: Pretty comparable to the Phase V, just a bit stronger. Not different enough on a THP to have both in the bag.

The Storm Fate is an awesome shiny pearl ball. I believe it fits a gap we were missing in the line up. A good step down from balls like the Phaze 2 but a step up from the Road series balls. This ball still reads the middle of the lane very well for how clean through the fronts it is. It give a very continuous motion down lane while retaining plenty of angle. If you're looking for a good transition ball look no further than the Fate.

The all new Storm Fate is the latest and greatest Belmo ball. In my eyes the all new Fate is storm’s creation of the original Wolverine. Although the Fate has a slightly lower RG, this ball is going to be an excellent replacement to fans of the Wolverine. Although 900 Global came out with the Dark Moss, I believe with the coverstock and factory finish the Dark Moss is earlier and smoother than the original Wolverine. I truly think that the Fate will be the best Belmo ball yet, go out and get yours today!

The new collaboration with Jason Belmonte brings us the Fate from Storm. This ball has the ReX Coverstock and F-8 Core. If you’re a big fan of Jason Belmonte and have liked his past balls, you’ll definitely like this one! The Fate is a monster with being able to clear the fronts and the motion of looking like someone kicked it left. It has no boundaries as I did see it look better through transition but definitely playable on the fresh. It is a great compliment to pieces like a Phaze 2, IQ Tour, and Zen.

One of the newest additions to the Signature line at Storm is the Fate.  We all know who Jason Belmonte is.  Him and the wizards at Storm have created a few balls previous to the Fate, but I believe this is the best one yet.  After a few changes to the core and coverstock, the Fate gives bowlers a dynamic ball that can be used on all types of patterns.  I’ve had a lot of success with the Fate and it goes most places with me, whether it’s league or tournaments. 

Mine is drilled as follows: 4.5 x 4 x 2.  This puts the pin above my ring and CG just to the right of my center line.  I’ve had the most success with it when my Gem, Reality, or Exotic Gem are just too strong.  Also, I’ve seen it strike the most on shorter to medium patterns.  Because the RG is 2.52 and differential is .053, that tells me this ball needs friction but will definitely come off the spot down lane.  It’s still provides a round enough shape down lane that the response time is still extremely controllable. 
If you need a ball to complement your “bigger” balls in your bag, the latest collaboration between Belmo and Storm is a home run.  Go drill a fate!

 The new Jason Belmonte Signature ball is the Storm Fate.  With Jason and the Storm team at the plant has come up with what I think is the best Belmo ball to date.
I drilled mine 4.5 x 3 x 2. The Fate gives me a very good motion, its a little unique but in a good way.  I can use the Fate when the big bowling balls like Gem, Exotic Gem, DNA, Dark Code start to bog down. The Fate has some good length and very good response down lane, can be a little quick at times.  But still the round shape not the hockey stick motion.  I've drilled the Fate for a variety of styles, strokers, crankers and 2 handers.  All of them love the ball.  So as in a pro shop it is very easy to recommend the Fate.  Just because it has Belmo name on it doesn't mean its only for 2 handers. A Great addition to the Storm Line.

The Storm Fate is the latest collaboration between Storm and Jason Belmonte.  This release in the signature line features the new  F-8 core wrapped in the REX pearl coverstock.  In 15lbs, the ball features a 2.52 RG and a differential of 0.053.  With my slower ball speed and higher rev rate, I drill most of my equipment with a 5 x 4 x 2 drilling.  This puts the pin just above my middle finger.  What I found when I threw the fate, was a much stronger ball than most of the other symmetrical pearls that Storm has released.  The Fate was pretty clean through the front part of the lane, but really read the midlane more than I was expecting.  It provided a very strong move off the breakpoint which one should expect from a Belmonte ball.  However, the fact that the Fate read the midlane so well combined with a strong continuous backend motion, gave this ball more overall hook.  The Fate is a little too quick response to friction for me to have it be the first ball out of my bag.  However, when the big assymetricals are burning up and the solid symmetricals aren’t going through the pins the right way to carry the corners.  The first pearl ball out of the bag is the Storm Fate.  The Fate will allow me to stay in the oil and throw to the dry part of the lane without having to worry if it will make it back to the pocket.  This is a great ball for every medium oil volume lane condition.

The Fate is the newest collab between Storm Bowling and Jason Belmonte. This thing is a backend monster! The mid-RG makes the core spin further down the lane, while the higher differential makes the ball flare enough to recover from anywhere! The 4th iteration of REX Pearl, this cover compliments this core in a way that gives it length, traction, and continuation. This ball is great for those rev-dominant players who want to see the ball clear the mids and jerk down the lane!

I was very much a fan of Belmo’s last ball, the Trend 2. The combination of the stronger symmetrical core and original Physix cover matched my game very well. The Trend 2 was a good ball for me to use in league but not so much on patterns due to the stronger pin placement. With the release of the Fate I was looking for a ball with more length than the Phaze V but with the same continuous motion off the dry.

I drilled the Fate with my standard layout so I can get a read on how much longer this ball will go since the REX pearl cover is a stronger pearl cover than the R2S featured on the Phaze V. For me the Phaze V revs up earlier than the Fate but with the weaker cover can have some over/under reactions on the house shot. When this happens I can change balls to the Fate and notice more length but now I can trust I will have the recovery off the dry with the stronger REX cover. In my arsenal the Fate fits below the Phaze V and depending on the amount of head oil in my second shift league can be slightly stronger than the Night Road.

The newest ball in the Jason Belmonte line features the REX coverstock with the new F-8 Core. This is hands down my favorite ball in the Belmonte line. I drilled mine 5 1/2 x 4 x 3, and out of the box, this ball clears the fronts and mids so easily while having a controllable, but strong backend reaction. For me it is a little too skid flippy to start out league with, but by the middle of the second game, when the track dries out, is where this ball shines. This ball reminds me of the Hyroad Pearl, but a little more controlled on the backend. I also tried changing the surface by putting a 1000 grit, just to see how it would react. This helped the ball pick up a little quicker in the mids, but did not sacrifice any backend reaction.
 
Do not miss out on the newest ball in the signature Jason Belmonte Line.

Belmo's newest release with Storm has the looks, but does it have the touch? If you need something to get down lane easily without sacrificing backend power this is what you are looking for. Sometimes it can get a tad jumpy on me but when it is the look, it is THE LOOK. I have also noticed it likes to be clean, if I don't keep up on my ball maintenance I don't love the look I start to get from it. It can be unpredictable at times but never enough to take it out of play. Great ball for a  house shot in particular.
