The natural is truly a unique reaction that was absolutely needed in the storm lineup. Anyone who sees high friction oil patterns, or broken down conditions will want and need this ball.

As you can see in the video the reaction is about as smooth as it gets. I compared to a furious because they have the same Surface and core. I also put the same layout on both. The only difference between the two is that the natural is Urethane and the furious is Reactive Resin. Its amazing how far we have come with coverstock technology and hook potential, and this is proof.

While the natural doesn't have an extremely aggressive core, it matches up very well with the urethane shell, and gives you plenty of power and drive at the pins.

This ball is gonna find its way into a lot of bowlers bags, and most likely bail them out of some tough situations...

if i ever run into a really fried pattern when i have my camera, im gonna shoot another video to show that...

Its a good 6 boards weaker on a THS...and that is with the fast polished and the natural at 2000...taking the natural to 4000 or polish will make it even more

Britton, just curious how long the ball is in the oil in that video. Depending on where the oil line is for that THS, it looks like 15-20 feet.

Even if you don't video it, if you ever run into some really dry stuff and use this ball, please tell us how the ball handled that. The ball is so smooth I can't imagine it carrying very well if one is forced inside with it.

the THS i bowl on is fairly blended, but there is a noticeable "Dropoff" of volume at about the 8 board...give or take a few boards.

covering too many boards with too much oil will cause problems for this ball, because as you said it is so smooth and needs quite a bit of friction to get it going and around the corner...but thats not what this ball is designed for...those who have been asking for more of a dry lane ball, storm now has your answer...

Haven't bowled on any versions of the "new" cheetah, but this ball would have been great when the gutter starts to get a little toasty and really overhook on the old version...

If i can get them to lay down a short pattern for me at some point in time ill film a video.

Let's keep in mind that the R2S is still a pretty strong solid coverstock and 2000 Abralon is farily aggressive for a solid resin ball.

There's a huge difference in boards covered between these two balls. In fact, although it may be 6 boards, it looks like more than that.

Jeff the ball in the video is the Furious, the Fast is the polished pearl and is the britton was talking about being 6 boards weaker.

Yes and when i say 6 boards more, thats at the arrows, it was more with my feet

The furious is about 10 boards deeper at the arrows, with my feet it was a good 15 boards, maybe more (cant remember off the top of my head)

I wasn't trying to imply that there would be any oil when you move inside if that's what you thought. Let's assume the lanes are so dry that you need to open up your angles and play 3rd arrow even with this ball. I'd like to know if this ball could carry on that line. Maybe polish would be needed for that situation.

Actually, I was kind of surprised that someone asked about the diff between the Fast and the Natural, due to the vast difference in their very basic natures.

I see:
Diff between Furious & Natural - 10 boards
Diff between Fast & Natural - 6 boards.

Side thought:
It might be more pertinent to show the difference between the Street Rod Solid and the Natural, given the "extra" strength of the R2S coverstock and the more "normal" strength of the Reactor coverstock.
