2D/FAST

what ball is stronger im curious? ive got a fast and a 2nd dimension is on the way...fast is drilled pin slightly right of bridge and cg kicked jus  a tad out of my grip to the right...wondering if i drilled the 2D the same how it would react...more or less....any ideas?

I would expect the 2nd to be stronger, with an earlier read than the Fast. I do not have both balls, but do have the 2nd Dimension and have been looking at the Fast for a while. It seems to me that the Fast is all backend and will work better with lower oil volumes than the 2nd.

W O W...I can't believe you had nothing to contribute to the conversation..

To offer my opinion, the Second Dimension is stronger. And many will agree.. But to be fair, it really depends on your definition of "stronger". As I have found out on these message board sites, some people want stronger reactions downlane at the break point while others want stronger midlane results..

For me personally, my Fast has a sharper motion off the break point than my Second Dimension with the same drilling.. The 2D is more rolly for me, which I why I like it so much more than my Fast

I have also found that my 2D reaction changes DRASTICALLY with surface prep... I think you can literally make this ball do what you want it to do. With a 1500 grit sand and high polish, it clears the heads nicely and makes a nice move to the pocket.

Take some of that polish off and it starts rolling WAY earlier... too early for my preference.

I think it will fit well with your Fast, but do yourself a favor and play with the surface finish to get it to do exactly what you want it to do.

While the Dimension is stronger overall, the Fast could "look" stronger on light medium oil because it saves all the hook for the dry. If by strong you meant skid flip, the Fast could be "stronger".

well i think IMO that the second dimension will probably start to roll a bit earlier which is good for me, bcus the fast refuses to turn when i play inside to start the night but has way too much backend to play straight up...im excited and thanks for all the imput, its helping me greatly!!
