So I ended up drilling pin about an inch above ring, cg close to palm. weight hole 1 inch wide and 2inches deep right of thumb.
First off ball smells amazing. Hungry people need to stay away from it unless they plan on throwing a ball with teeth marks on it lol. Ball goes long and insanely aggressive off the dry. Very angular off the dry. Reads the midlanes nicely as well. As far as I have seen, carry is great overall. It is one of those balls that doesnt send messengers unless needed, it just puts 10 straight into the pit. I bowled on 2 different shots, a 37 ft shot that played very short and 40 something ft shot that played long. The ball was way too much on the short shot, unless I played extremely deep, the ball was too much off the breakpoint to keep consistant. On the long shot, I found a nice line playing 20 (at the arrows) out to 14-15 (breakpoint). The ball got down lane easily and the aggressive backend made it great for getting back to the pocket. I could move left some(and play 23 to 16-17) and still have room thanks to the aggressive backend.

I will make a full review as soon as I get some more games on it and test it out on other shots.

I laid mine out exactly the same as my regular Dimension.  (Here's a picture if you're curious, my PAP is 5 1/4" over by 3/4" up, and I've got a much lower rev rate than you).

OOB this ball is too strong off the spot for me, I'm having trouble with it skating through oil and snapping off dry, which is status quo for the high-gloss box finish Storm loves to use.  I'm going to bring the cover down some tonight before league to even out the reaction some.  I know it'll do much better once I get it to pick up earlier in the midlane, but it's still already working fairly well for me.  Right now it's just too prone to snapping hard off the dry and leaving a 4 pin every time if I just barely miss target right or get a little soft with the speed.

Hey Dan,  Your PAP is pretty close to mine.  My pap is 5 1/4 over and 1 UP.  What type of layout did you put on it?  Looks to be to be around 4 1/2 pin to pap?

Mine is similar to Dan's, but my pin is more to the left.  It is above the middle of the fingers.  This is the same layout as my Virtual Gravity.  I wanted to be able to switch from the Virtual to the Second Dimension as needed.  The Second Dimension is about three boards less hook than the Virtual, but due to the polished cover, it snaps a little harder.

It's about 5" pin to PAP.  I tend to carry better with lower-flaring layouts on strong balls like this.  Even right now with the surface not being right, my carry is still great when I do get it to face up to the pocket.  We'll see how it does tonight with a lower-grit finish on it to get the ball to roll a little better in oil.

You guys are going to love this ball!!!! It hits like a freakin mack truck!!!! Mine is laid out similar to Dan's but with a x-hole by the thumb. I was having the same problem with it real jumpy off the dry so I hit it with a white scotch-brite pad and it smoothed it out....now only if I can get it to stop leaving 9-pins!! I've left more smash 9's in the 9 games I've put on the ball than have all season with my other stuff! This ball is SICK!!!!!! Can't wait to drill up another one!

Speaking of which, while using the Second Dimension on Sunday night, I left a smash 9 in the fill ball of the 10th frame the first game to shoot a 246 -- the mystery score jackpot ended up being 247.
