To me the vertigo was non-stop midlane.  It read the lane at 40 feet and kept going.  This would make for a large difference in reaction shape between the fired up which snaps and the trifecta which has a strong arc.  Instead I would go with an ace or XXX which have more of a crossover reaction(not snap but more than a strong arc).  The screamin' drilled up to go somewhat long would be the best banshee to fit under the fired up.  Also while the fired up is a great ball I have heard quite a bit about the ragin' banshee.  The ragin is not far enough below the fired up to be a "next step", but it is close enough to be a replacement.  You may want to contact a rep for storm as to more details, another great source is reviews of equipment.  Chris Forry of buddiesproshop.com posted a review of the ragin', trifecta, and fired up on bowlingballreviews.com.

Why not go this way:

Trifecta
Flash Flood
Fired Up
Tropical

If you really want a banshee, you could drop the Flash Flood and Fired Up, then do this

Trifecta
Triple XXX
Banshee
Tropical

Just my couple pennies...

In the Banshee's, depends on what you like. Solid Reactive or Reactor Particle. Med or Med-Light, that's the only difference.

IMO, the Ragin ( Particle) is a bit better reacting ball, but, the covers are different so you would get a bit different reactions. I think it's up to what cover do I think would work best for you, only you know that one.

Good Luck

I think the Diablo and the XXXtreme will overlap in that arsenal.  They are both solid reactives, and are both strong in the mids and hard arc on the backends.  I would reccomend the Hot Rod Super Sport, because it is weaker than the Diablo, and earlier than the fired up.  The Fired Up is pretty strong to be your weakest ball, but it depends on the lightest amount of oil you encounter.  If you bowl on mostly medium I think it will work well.

Since you already have one of them,
I'd go...

Trifecta
Xtreme
Ragin Banshee

(depends on how light oil you see)
HR Super Sport
Tropical Line
