I didn't realize they were already discontinuing the Agent.  (It's still listed as a current ball on Storm's website)

Well then, that sucks.  I haven't thrown one, but I love the EMC core in my Special Agent and I bet the pearl version of it would be great.  It'd overlap other equipment in my bag though really, so I haven't bothered to get one.  If they released a new R2S pearl version of the Agent, however, I may have to spring for that...

Of course they could be planning to discontinue it shortly, but it just hasn't happened yet, or since it's still widely available they still list it.  Does anyone know any further info on this?

Aww, sad. I've heard nothing but amazingly good reviews about this ball. I hope they release an RS2 version of this bad boy. Speaking of arsenals, I've been thinking the following: I have a dull ball for heavy oil (Passion), a dull pearl/particle for medium (Pyro) and a polished pearl for medium-medium light/less volume (T-Road Pearl)...would it behoove me to invest in a pearl ball for heavier oil?

I would agree, n00dlejester.  On medium-heavy patterns with good backend, I love throwing an aggressive pearl.  The key though is you need to have enough backend to get a good pop from the pearl.  It works great on something like the Scorpion pattern, however, once the heads get a game or two of use.

I heard from a inside source that the Agent is not being discontinued anytime in the near future...

Gotta love that "Inside source"...  Storm Technical Staff.  

Maybe you can tell us what's up with the Storm web site today?  You updating it or something?  Cuz I thought it was just updated a week or so ago.  Watched the Attitude Shift Vid. today, the ball looks great.
