Another 300 with the vertigo
« on: November 07, 2006, 11:50:33 PM »
Not like many care but I shot another 300 with the vertigo last night (5th one this year) Ended up with a 791 series because of the lanes got tighter on the backend. Couldnt get the corners out and left a 7-10 split for a 214, Found the carry again on lane 1 but still flat on lane 2 so I went to my flip/side ego the last game and shot 277, I played the lane 1 shot on lane 2 with the wrong ball (stupid stupid stupid) once I seen the ball rolling down the lane I thought to my self oh christ you freaking idiot you just blew it. My team mates realized it to when I did it. Ended up leaving the empty bucket (2,4,5). The vertigo is drilled with one of my favorite drillings, pin below middle finger (6" from pap) cg/MB in 45* angle with flare reduceing weight hole inside my VAL. Very clean through the front (high rg pin placement) and strong arcy flippy on the back (cg/MB angle) This is a very versatile layout for me and takes hand changes very well, also the ball is very adjustable and one of the best storm has made. There on close out right now also. Forgot to mention this was in the houston bowling asociation so that makes 3 different associations this year for me to shoot 300 and other honor scores in.
