Another Shift cracked

Well I loved my first Shift so much that when it cracked I decided to drill another. First one cracked out off the weight hole and then across the cover. I just noticed tonight that the other one has a crack around the pin and going out about a 1/4 inch. Funny thing is a drilled a T-Road Pearl for a customer that is cracking around the pin in the same manner. Just as a FYI all hole are bevel and all three balls were drilled different and the pins are atleast a inch from the finger hole. I have not had any cracking issues with any other company and really want to keep a Storm in the bag but I'm getting really tried of returning ball to the distributor. I'm opening the can of worm and asking if anyone else is haing issues.

I have 2 Shifts, a Special Agent, Attitude Shift & an Overseas X-Factor Perfecta & none of these balls have cracked.  My Perfecta's coverstock is getting kind of nicked up, but other than that, no problems yet.

my double agent cracked, but i couldnt do anything about it because i plugged the thumb to change pitches

hmmmmm... just for myself i've drilled.... 2 t-road pearls, 2 solids, 2 secrets, a special, a double, an agent, each thunder struck, fired up, rapid fire, 2 sure fires, 2 shifts, an attitude, a tropical, 1 of each jolt, a paradigm, and a domination, along with many of the same for many customers and haven't had any come back with cracking issues. Between 2 shops in town for the last 2 years, 1 t-road pearl is the only ball we've had to replace due to cracking issues.

I have seen a Strom or 2 crack. Mainly the Paradigms though. At least if they do this, Storm replaces it unlike a 30 game old Ebonite that is on its death bed from ball death.
