Attitude Shift info on website
« on: October 22, 2007, 08:19:59 AM »
I was looking on the Storm website at the Attitude Shift. On the graph which is medium/heavy it shows the special agent as being quite a bit stronger I am surprised to see that. They show it as having a very similar roll to the domination just stronger. To anyone that has thrown it does this seem right or no?

Yep the chart is right i hear from a staffer that is stronger on the backend than the special agent and shift, being a solid that is pretty weird but he told me the same thing.

A shift that handles more oil and handles carrydown is a good idea of it.

Chart is wrong after getting the real ball, this ball needs alot of oil upfront or forget about using it out of the box. The flip this monster makes is as strong or stronger than the Odyssey, it needs head oil and will backend like nuts.

Used my standard drilling 4 1/2 to pap and  mb right and below my thumb about 1 1/4 or so, an oiler that backends wow that is not supposed to happen but yet it has here.

I had it against a Lane 1 Supernova on the same shot, the Attitude made the Cheetah look like a house pattern it was too much ball. The Supernova drilled the same way was pretty straight very mild backend, i ended up using a NVS at 4k no polish that also nowhere near the strength of the Attitude. I did shoot 747 on the Cheetah using the NVS so i must say that it matched up better, when i get enough oil i will try this ball.

Wow sounds like it will be a heck of an oiler then. I would like to see it vs. the Resurgence, Rising, LevRG and the other "oilers".

from what i remember of the BTM tests, just a little under the resurgence and alot under levrg.  the rising is a medium oil ball according to BTM

Barry --

How would you compare the Attitude to the Break to the Odyssey?

I'm not Barry, but Break Vrs Attitude...similar amounts of hook...the Attitude is a little earlier and more of a powerful arc on the backend...not a big snap like the break...

Earlier and in my case more hook overall on the backend probably 2-3 boards, this ball was a hook monster the few shots i threw it on the Cheetah in warmup.

It made my NVS at 4k look alot weaker but the NVS was perfect for the shot, maybe it tames down or burns up on regular house shots.

That makes sense...with my layout the Attitude should be more rolly compared to your layout...my MB is almost on my VAL and my pin is down...
