ball for dry heads
« on: August 04, 2007, 05:17:48 PM »
I'm just wondering what a good ball would be when the heads start to burn up.  I really only have Brunswick stuff, and a special agent.  When the lanes start to dry up a bit, they essentially become worthless, and flatten out right away.  If anyone can give input on a good ball it would be great.  Thanks,

Zach

Now I haven't used this personally, but I was practicing on open bowling with fried heads and the dude next to us had like, 55 balls he was toying with. The SD-73 (the original) was going through the heads like there was a ton of oil on them, and had a great look to the pocket. I'm not sure if anybody else has seen about or done this, but I found it quite amazing. And also, I bet a plastic ball or maybe even a Tropical Storm (or any other comparable ball) could do this.

now I am a storm guy that is all I have thrown and I love my tropical storm I can use the ball on many shots with my higher rev rate but for dry heads I would reccomend the hammer vibe either color doesnt matter the ball just skates through the heads like there is a flood and has a really monster backend hope this helps!!

I too like Storm but have found the Visionary Slate Blue Gargoyle to be the best by far.
