Barb Wire
« on: April 26, 2004, 09:30:33 AM »
I am looking to replace my Too Hot with a Barb Wire.
For anyone who has thrown both do you think this is
a good replacement? I want the Barb Wire to fit between
my Hit and Hot Rod.

Thanks

You'll find that the barbed wire isn't much stronger than your Hit. While the barbed wire isn't a bad ball, it is much milder than advertised. A much weaker cover than the too hot with a bit more core.

This ball should work great but if you want it in between the Hit and the Hot Rod you would probably use layout 1 or 3. You can look this info up at  http://www.stormbowling.com/ball/ball.asp?ballid=86&ballname=BARBED+WIRE%99

I actually went and practiced today and only used my Barbed Wire. I have one but I drilled it aggressive. Very nice reaction. Only problem is that it flat 10's sometimes. What am I talking about, I flat 10 with most of my stuff. It will fit in your arsenal very nicely between your Hit and Hot Rod.
