Is the R2S coverstock a good durable coverstock. Some of the past coverstock's by Storm just don't last.

I agree with your comment CZ, however the coverstock materials used by storm 4 or 5 years ago which was when I last used storm was not a durable coverstock, it would die out at 40 to 50 games no matter how much cleaning care or surface prep work you did. A lot of companies were that way.

I can't speak for 4 or 5 years ago, but the stuff they have now definitely lasts.

I just bought a Spit Fire and Special Agent in February after not owning any Storm stuff for probably 5+ years. The Fear Factor and LRG turned me off to Storm for quite a while. I'm glad I tried Storm again. My Spit Fire probably has 100 games on it and it's still going strong. The Special Agent probably has 40-50 games on it and it still reacts great.
