taking hyroad down to 2000 abralon?

Has anybody had any success taking the original Hyroad down to 2000 abralon? Really surprised how much this ball back ends. Really close to my Hyroad pearl. Looking for a smooth rolling ball similar to the IQ Tour. I thought the Hyroad was supposed to be smooth in the backend. Mine is anything but smooth. Maybe taking in down a bit will help smooth out the back end. Mine has the pin drilled out which I had hoped would smooth it out. Might have to just replace my very old IQ Tour with another IQ Tour. I heard the Rocketship was close but just not as smooth as the IQ Tour. Anything else out there as smooth as the IQ Tour?

Storm wise, I'd say the Ride (with surface and layout to enhance) but they may not cover the same conditions. Probably should just get another IQ Tour. 900 Global has the X and Breakdown as perfect candidates.

On the other hand, the Hy-Road at 2000 is beautiful. Most of the time, I keep it at 2000 and it is my favorite ball of all-time with that surface.

I agree - the Ride is quite smooth for light to medium conditions. My pin up Hyroad was a bit jumpy with OOB surface but became smooth and controllable at 2000. I rarely use my Hyroad polished; always 2000 or below.

It definitely works at 2000.  When I had my HyRoad, I used that surface many times and had a very good control ball as a result.
