« on: October 06, 2006, 04:26:54 PM »
I ordered a new DT and it came in blue with white streaks! Do I have a defect?

I bought a new one for my daughter a couple of weeks ago and it came exactly the same.  It wasn't really blue though - I think it is a bit of an illusion because of the white swirls.

I don't think it is a defect, I just think the color mix in the batch was a bit off.  Reaction seems to be the same.

Well, I received a reply from Storm and they believe that the white streaks were probably caused by the ball getting very cold, probably just after it came out of the mold. I also believe greenefam is correct in suggesting that the blue appearence is caused by the white steaks. Whatever the reason, the most important thing is that the ball performs better than I imagined. I wanted a ball to replace my Danger Zone as my med heavy oil ball, but it won't beable to fill that role because it out hooks my DZ and Big One. So, now I finally have a ball to handle the heavier stuff. I am very impressed with this ball.
