Double Agent polished
« on: February 19, 2007, 09:44:09 AM »
Anyone tried this ball polished?  I was using mine dull, about 1000 Abralon, and was just doing ok with it, one 300 in there, but just very average (200ish) scores other than that.  Seemed like if I gave it room, it wouldn't get back, and if I tried to go straighter, too much core and surface, and it went high.  After getting a G Force, decided to give the DA some polish, and use it lower in my arsenal.  Only taken it out once so far, but it was on a little than tougher house shot, this house uses more oil on the outside, creating an OB which I love because it's better practice for regionals, and upcoming nationals.  Used the polised DA playing very straight in the middle of the lane, going out no farther than about 13 or so, oil and polish pushed it up to the backends, and then that core and friction on the backend brought it right to the pocket, getting me a 260.  Just wondering if anyone else has shined this ball up, and what they're thoughts were.
