Duece drilling?
« on: December 28, 2003, 06:40:38 PM »
Hello all!  New to the site but have been reading reviews for a while now.  I am getting a Duece in the next couple of days.  I am pretty much getting this ball to play in the soup.  I already have a thunder road that i can play in most conditions but I wanted something that i could play a deeper line with in the soup.  I am steering away from particle balls until the technology shows me that they will last more than 50 games.  I had a roto-grip fuel that died after about 20 games.  My question is what is the most aggressive drilling for the duece?  If it's any help I throw about 15-16 mph and have i guess around medium revs.

I got mine drilled up saturday.  It has a 4.5" pin.  I got it drilled somewhat similar to layout 2 with MB close to thumbhole on the right side.  the pin is about 1 inch to the right of the ring finger and the MB is about 2" right of the thumb hole.  I tried throwing it on lanes that had severe carrydown and i couldn't get it to move that much at all.  I'm still waiting for league to get here so i can try it then.  Whenever i get a few games on it I'm going to write up a review.
