Fear Factor mini review
« on: November 24, 2003, 08:03:51 AM »
Just drilled up my Fear Factor today. I am primarily a Track user right now, but was very interested in this ball because I have not thrown a Storm ball with the X-type core. I threw an original X Factor a few games and hated it. So I wanted to see this core in a strong coverstock. This is the ball I have waited for.

Drilled-pin below bridge, and MB one inch past the VAL.

Strong reaction and has the strong hit that all Storm balls have. This ball is not as strong as the Phenom, and not quite as angular or as strong as the Phenom Unleashed. I am very happy I decided to go with this ball. I was considering the Raging Inferno, and the Black Cherry Bomb. Neither of them could have made me any happier than this ball.

It fits directly between the Phenom and Phenom Unleashed. It has a place in my bag. It will certainly need oil to get down the lane, so if you bowl on a pattern shorter than 40 ft, and you throw the ball slow....forget about the Fear Factor.
