What happened to the origin core and the r3x coverstock? Not that I'm angry about it just I thought storm was on the edge with those two. Or do you think maybe that's what's coming next? A pearl reign with r3x? An r2x origin ball? Tell us your thoughts on this.

I don't know about the r3x, but I would assume the origin core is done. Between bringing the shape lock back in the nanos, MAD, and now G2...

To be honest, I have no doubt that the cover on the Reign of Power and IQ solid are R3X even though Storm calls them something different, Progressive something, I forget. Anyway, I believe b/c the Invasion wasn't a hot seller, even though I thought it was a great ball, they renamed the cover to keep interest in it.

Does the pft(progressive friction technology) roll well for you as the invasion did? I wish I have bought the invasion over the virtual gravity but I wanted to buy the ball I saw all of my role models buy. Not only that but my ball driller told me he had a lack of experience with the invasion because it was only 3 weeks old when I was purchasing.

JMO,but the MAD core looks an awful lot like a tweaked Origin core.

+1 Thought the same thing. Hated the invasion, loved the Anarchy, would have given anything to see a Hybrid with the Origin Core!

Well obviously since I don't have access to storm's coverstock formulas, I don't have proof, its just what I believe. I've thrown the Marvel, thrown the IQ, and the IQ gives the same look as my Marvel, but earlier and stronger. Storm has some history of just upgrading covers on older cores. Look at the Victory Road-->Fire Road, Virtual Gravity-->Nano. Same situation here in my opinion, except they just changed the name.

Even though they may not be the exact same cover, they have the same purpose.
