My dad's original X-Factor is still his go-to ball.  I've never met a person who didn't like the X-Factor, actually.

It's my favorite Storm ball and my favorite ball overall, from any company. IMO, only the original Thunder and the original Paradigm are in the X-Factor's league, and I've probably thrown 75 percent of Storm's offerings over the years.

Ya I've got to agree with Jeff and the others...my favorite Storm ball of all time is the X-Factor.  Though I've got to admit that there are definately a few others that hold special places in my heart:

Bolt Pro
Too Hot
Tour Power

I wish they would re-issue the X-factor and the Ace!

Most overlooked midline storm ball ever, Storm Recharge. Monsoon cover and reactor *i think* core.

I too love many of the older Storm balls including the X-Factor, Eraser, and the Super Charge.  The problem with re-issues is that since the lane conditioners continue to change and the ball manufacturers keep up with those changes in order to benifit us - the bowlers.  Reactor, R2S, and R2X have been Storm's response to these changes.  I am not sure how well Accutread and Monsoon hold up to those changes.

How about an X-Factor core with R2X cover?

The X-Factor was the first and only storm ball i have ever thrown, and it was fantastic. Plugged and redrilled from lefty to right, the ball was so clean on a broken down house shot. Picture of the ball can be found at the link in my signature under the Bowling Ball link. I would rank it as the number 2 ball ever produced by storm behind the El Nino line.

Two of the best Storm balls I have ever thrown were the Tour Power and Fire Power... The Power line was great!

Wish they could bring it back

To me really quality balls are the ones you see on both the tour and as a big seller nationwide. The X-Factor to me was storms best release ever. Closely trailed by El Nino and El N2000. Tour Power and eraser probably in the next tier.

I personally haven't owned one msyelf, but I do have two x-factor reloadeds with the same core, and I love them both. From what I have heard, it was like a all time favorite among various bowlers.
