Wipe Out vs Devour vs Boost Solid
« on: March 30, 2016, 12:06:36 PM »
Hey guys,

I'm trying to revamp my arsenal for house shots and am looking for a symmetrical higher rg solid ball. Been looking at some different options across the Storm/Roto/900G line and was curious how a couple of them compare to each other. Wanted to see if anyone could chime in on how the Wipe out and Devour compare to each other since the core numbers and surface prep are relatively similar, but also if anyone has experience with the Boost Solid too. I'm looking for something on the fresh for a house shot, medium-medium higher volumes. Thanks for the help!

I did not have a Boost....

But I did have a Devour and Wipe Out. I liked the Wipe Out MUCH better. Seemed to roll better, hit better, and had a better "look" rolling down the lane to me than the Devour.

Just my opinion

For me my devour was too early at oob, had to put it to 4000 grit sanded and it goes long like 3-4 feet more, allows me to play more direct angles even on heavy oil, nice versatile ball for the price point

Edit: wet dry reaction, this ball is not good to blend that out on longer patters due to the lower rg
