Is there anything my friend can do?
« on: October 30, 2005, 10:54:09 AM »
I have a friend that is on my team that owns a Fear Factor and he cannot get it to hook in the last couple of weeks. He has tried cleaningit with alcohol and some black magic. It still won't do anything compared to what it used to. Is there anything he can try before getting it resurfaced because he really doesn't want to pay to have that done.

Thanks ahead of time

Take a scotch brite pad to it! You can always adjust.

I've soaked many bowling balls in the bath tub.  I only use warm water and dawn dish soap though.  I was told not to have the water too hot.  I have never had any problems with cracking, and it has helped ball performance.

brillo, lighter fluid, and acetone should do the trick.

clean ball with Track Clean n Dull after each session and you
never have to worry about loss of ball reaction.
