I was bowling open play practice with one of my teammates last Saturday 2/21/09. I rolled 5 games and the middle 3 were 258-299-245 = 802, my first ever 800.
The first two games was with my T-Road Solid. Eighteen strikes in a row between the 1st & 2nd games, then left the stone 9 on my 299 game. Instead of staying with the Solid for the next game, I switched over to my T-Road Pearl and shot 245.
It's bitter sweet rolling my first 800 and it's not in league play. At least I can say I've done it. And now I have to nut up and do it during league.
I'm very happy with my T-Roads. I bought them last March and my average has gone up 15 pins (220 atm), and I'm rolling more high 600s and 700s than ever before. I'm sure my physical game plays a part in that too, but I've had more success with Storm than any other brand. I'm a Storm fan boy for life.
