Original Paradigm Replacement
« on: February 18, 2016, 09:10:06 PM »
Hello! I have a customer just getting back into bowling and he absolutely loves his original Paradigm and wants something newer comparable to it. I wasn't sure if a Crux Pearl would be early enough since the paradigm core in a 15 had a 2.47 rg and .055 diff. I was thinking possibly a Hyper Cell Skid might come close but wasn't sure. Any thoughts are suggestions would be appreciated, and he's not brand specific. Thanks!

I'd try and hunt down a BYTE...wouldn't be too outrageously priced either.

Closest thing I can remember to those good ol days with polished assyms by storm.  I wouldn't recommend a crux pearl...
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

I remember the Paradigm being smoother and stronger than most pearls.  Maybe an asymmetrical hybrid either slightly polished or at 4000?  How about a 4000 abralon Crux?

If he really wants a pure pearl I agree that a Byte would work as well.

The Lock has a slightly modified (RAD-X) paradigm core (RAD+). It was built on the same platform and its a hybrid so it will be a bit earlier and stronger overall.
