Original X-factor vs Vortex 2 Pearl Trimax....
« on: October 29, 2003, 12:43:10 AM »
I am really thinking of buying some storm balls to fill my Arsenal.
My question is, would the original X-Factor be a good compliment for my Pearl Vortex 2. Since the V2 rolls early and hooks well on the backend when they are dry it is good for light to med. I heard the Orig X-factor would be good on medium oil because it goes long, revs up in the mid lane and has great backend.

Current Arsenal:

(Fear Factor)? (Drill like my V2 sanded)(Thinking of getting too)
V2 Particle (5 1/2" Pin with hole on axis)
V2 Sanded (Pin under with cg kicked out and hole 6" below)
V2 Pearl (4 x 4 label)
(Orig X-Factor)? (Thinkg of 5 1/2" Pin drill)
Maxim Spare Ball

What do you guys think? Give me your input.

I agree with Mr. Hanson, but I have to ask, Jonathan, why do you want a pearl for oil when you already have 3 balls for any oil: V2, V2 Particle and Fear Factor??

The X-Fcator, original, should be stronger than the V2 pearl, under most circumstances.

charlest: I would have to say that i would want a stronger pearl. I do now believe the Orig X-Factor is stronger than the V2 Pearl because of it's core design and backend potential.

Maybe i can use this for medium oil to play those tight lines and use it if i want to have more mid lane roll and bigger kick down the lane. The Fear factor i don't have yet. I am planning on trying it for a heavy oil ball. Just want to try the storm line.

The Ebonites are great and work well on med to heavy conditions. They are all roll early and arc. With storm from what i can see are all down and flip balls.
I haven't tried any of the new storms since the Original Thuunder and Teal storm.
