Pearl-Solid
« on: September 11, 2007, 10:17:47 AM »
My son is looking at the T-Road Solid. He already has the pearl, but I have a question concerning the difference between them.

If you were to polish up a solid, would it give you the same reaction as the pearl does? Or due to one being pearl and one being solid, would you still get a different reaction?

I am not saying that is what we are going to do, I was just wondering what would happen if you were to do this.

I'd think that even if you polished the solid, the pearl would get down the lane more and have a bigger backend. The T-Road solid at OOB and T-Road Pearl at OOB would be two great balls to have.

I just got the T-ROAD SOLID and I have the T-ROAD PEARL
Very different ball reaction. I love my pearl and it looks
like my solid is going to my bench ball. This will hook but very
smooth at the breakpoint gets down lane very smooth.
I'm very glad I got this ball and the SURE FIRE..

Took the COVER up to 2,000 VERY VERY NICE!!!

Yeah, I just do not think that he needs another ball.

T-ROAD
FINISH
STRIKE ZONE
DRY/R
PLASTIC

No specific order. But I think that he has a good arsenal as it sits.

But I guess I was trying to figure out if you took the solid and put a polish on it, would it react the same as the pearl does.

I just drilled up a Solid to compliment my Pearl and in box condition the Solid is much stronger in the midlane than the Pearl.  I think for the two to be a perfect compliment to each other I'll have to take the surface to a lighter grit or even polish the ball with some surface under it.
