A shiny ball with a big sym core is going to be better on a house shot than a smooth solid on a house shot???  You don't say . . maybe Storm should just discontinue the IQ Tour and all their solid non-house shot balls and just release stuff that goes 45 feet and turns sideways!
I totally get where you're coming from, but they could use another strong, flippy hybrid in the premier for the people that want a boomy premier ball. #RIPIntenseFire

I think my words got a little misconstrued with comments after mine since I wasnt very specific.

The Phaze 3 looks like the "typical" Storm release of recent times where we'll see this ball everywhere.

Unfortunately, the SPEC cover hasn't been that impressive to me. The ProMotion has definitely looked the best of the bunch to my eyes. it looks to fit in between the Phaze 2 and IQ Tour, where if you didn't have either of those it'd be a great benchmark option.

Personally bowling mostly sport league and tournaments, I could see myself covering majority of conditions with 4 balls.

Sure Lock/Halo Vision
Phaze 2
Phaze 3
IQ Tour

I dont matchup with the HyRoad (inverted Fe2) core for whatever reason. Had a Hyroad Pearl and didn't like it. Give me the booster core from the Rocket series.

I'd probably go with the MVP or MVP Pearl at this moment.

The 4 I listed are just based on what I've used the most the past couple of years on tougher conditions

The entire line has gotten really early and smooth.  The two strongest shiny balls we have right now are the Astro and IQ Emerald, so yeah, Chad knows what needs to happen now.  BUT there's also the tried and true stuff that isn't going anywhere like the Hyroad, Phaze 2, IQ Tour, etc., and the idea is that newer stuff is going to create more of a difference inside each individual line so they can allow the older stuff to breathe and exist in a space of its own instead of directly replacing and discontinuing stuff.  This has all been set up.  Phaze 3 replaces nothing, so nothing has to go.  Next Premier line ball is definitely going to be a strong, flippier shiny ball.  We're due for a hybrid, but the PhysiX is still going strong and it would be a real shame to release something too close to it and nudge it out, but we also have a pretty angular ball in the Astro.  R3S Hybrid PhysiX or maybe even a new Lock, but whatever comes out won't be like anything else in the line.  We'll get back to some stronger more angular stuff, but all the stuff that's already there will be able to stay there.

Plus there's also some consideration there in not stepping on the toes of the other company's stuff.  Roto has some big wheels in their line right now with the MVP, the upcoming MVP Pearl, the Idol Pearl, and the Halo Pearl.  They're paying attention, trust me.

I see the SPEC non-love.... but i see a lot of people using them.  Some are polished, some are strokers playing deep swinging from deep in the oil on a THS, but i see them out there....
