Polishing a Reign of Fire
« on: February 12, 2010, 10:29:24 AM »
Has anybody tried this.. and does it make it uncontrollable like it does some balls, or does it increase the length a bit. Also did you polish it over box state or a different surface. Thanks in advance!

I have used some polish on this ball in some testing on a house shot. The ball definitly gets alot of length but is not uncontrollable by any means. I used Reacta Shine and had the cover at 2000 abralon. The ball has a more defined backend reaction but its definitly controllable due to its solid coverstock.  Hope this helps.

I sanded one 4000 and polished it, and I would second TJ's assessment. Ball gets similar length to the Reign, but is less over/under and I prefer the polished ROF to the Reign.
