Power Charge pearl
« on: April 28, 2004, 10:02:01 PM »
I just put some comments on the Depth Charge post below

"Depth Charge = Core Power HRG".

Haven't tried one but I do have a Core Power Lrg and Power charge pearl.

Just tried the Power Charge yesterday!  What a classic medium ball.  It just does everything smoothly and medium - beautiful for conditions that are not the extremes.  Drilled 5 X 4.  3 1/2 inch pin out with pin touching top of ring finger!

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I've seen the Power Charge compared to the Hot Rod in reaction.  I find them dramatically different.  I stand 5 boards weaker with my Hot Rod!  Hot Rod very little midlane Power Charge a good dose of medium lane belly!  Both have a pearl coverstock!

The Depth Charge starts up much earlier than than the HRG ever did.
Closer to the LRG in look but cleaner through the fronts for me with a little more backend.

I knowd dat!

Please see my post on the Depth Charge vs HRG.

I actually knew a little bit about these balls.

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS I was sort of just postin a little mini praise review.
Low rg as Power Charge = Core Power LRG in a pearl wrapper, go see my comments on someone ELSES question on Detph Charge vs HRG, you'll see I really had an inkling on this subject.

PPS Just realized I sounded terse and sort of pissy in my answer above!
Often I do need and request help in this forum and appreciate the answers, in this case I was just giving my observation.  Thanks!

Not burstin my bubble, I really like it too!  A classic ball. Smooth with angle at the pocket and hit!  I agree!
