Pro Stock Solid VS Hot Wire
« on: December 25, 2005, 02:18:40 PM »
Today I couldn't miss the Hot Wire and lots of the shots it was carrying the world...and my next door neighbors laundry.  Just occassionally it would stop carryin!  Ofter after a turkey or 4 bagger.

Thsi was causin many 210s instead of 230 and 240s I felt I was throwing!

From pictures and specs it looks like these two are very similar except the Pro Stock Solid has a stonger Monsoon vs accutread coverstock on the Hot Wire.  Also the weightblock looks like it is virtually the same.  Except for a density ball in the Pro Stock which slightly lowers RG..

Ive used this little fireplug the Hot Wire in the past and often thought about how great it is and then after getting a streak of yuch to carry.  All of a sudden one flushes the pocket and there it is.... A ringin 7 pin!

Is the Pro Stock slightly earlier and with lunch being served...do I need to come over there, in other words...is the pro stock earlier and harder hitting!
OR am I just wastin my time looking at the Pro stock if I have the Hot wire!!

REGards,

Luckylefty
PS I have the monsoon on a super charge and love it except I have that ball setup a little too flippy!

Do you feel coverstock is a touch stronger (ie earlier and maybe better on carrydown?)

That is what i think is getting me with the Hot Wire as the amount of flare is beautiful for my lanes.

Never said it didn't hook.  I Says it can't really string...in my house.
IN MY house.  Could be that it seems very sensitive to carrydown...we have very spotty conditions where I bowl on slippery unforgiving Brunswick anvilanes.

YOu must have WAY more hand than me and most of this board...I purchesed it to have it flare less!  Due to diff being lower than other stuff I have from Storm.

REgards,

PS EVERYTHING I throw...hooks!
