question for the thunder road
« on: July 04, 2006, 06:53:43 AM »
alright folks - since i just got this thing - and its going to be a gift to someone - what is the surface supposed to be? is it supposed to be sanded - if so what grit - or if it is supposed to be polished- i just want it to be basically like an out of box sort of ball - i had polished it yesterday - but it really didn't have that finish - so if you guys could - suggest what i should do..

The original thunder road (violet color, more of a blueish though) was at 1000 grit smooth sanded (equivelant to abralon nowadays) upon release

The thunder road pearl (purple) came at 1500 grit polish

hope that helps
